School Program
Our school program starts at 9:00 A.M. and ends at 3:00 P.M. During these hours, we will help your child to focus on their reading readiness, math readiness, and art language.
Reading Readiness
is to build a basic foundation that the students will be able to apply towards more advanced reading skills while developing a positive attitude towards language. Students will work with preschool reading readiness skill books, felt board, library books, picture forms, beads, logic blocks, and sequencing cards.
Math Readiness
is to build the basic concept of “adding to” and “taking from” plus the fundamentals of number concepts, shapes, and sequential order. Manipulative, pre-kindergarten work books, flash cards, blocks, shapes, geo-boards plus various other hands-on materials.
Art & Language
is to make each child aware of his/her talents and to show individual creativity of students. To help students develop a positive attitude for expanding awareness through various senses such as touch, observation, and recall. Children will be taught through direct teaching using crayons, paint, yarn, natural resources. Sand and water tables are among some of the art material utilized by the students.
Lunch time is from 11:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Napping period is from 12:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. and resting period is from 12:00 P.M. to 12:30 P.M. Children who rest will be able to join our Spanish, Sign Language, P.E. and Music classes while the other children are napping.
Spanish & Sign Language
are to introduce students to other cultures as well as positive attitude and respect for other languages that prove useful to everyday use. Students will be given directions to follow for comprehension and understanding.
P.E
is to help students develop a positive self-image by developing motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and general control of body movements through physical activity.
Music & Movement
is to form a balance of rhythm and sound by way of rhythm and voice to teach individual creativity and self worth as well as self interpretation for concepts of music and language combined.
